The GABiP Scientific Team
Dr Daniel Pincheira-Donoso University of Lincoln (UK) Senior Lecturer in Evolutionary Biology and Lead Principal Investigator on GABiP. His research investigates the origins, adaptations and extinctions of species. Dr Roberto García-Roa University of Valencia (Spain) Postdoctoral Research Fellow. His research bridges ecological interactions with macroevolutionary and macroecological processes across diverse taxa, with a main focus on reptiles and amphibians. Dr Iker Vaquero-Alba Natural History Museum Barcelona Postdoctoral Researcher. His interests focused on behavioural ecology and on the role of cognitive processes as drivers of evolutionary change in vertebrates. |
Prof Dave Hodgson University of Exeter (UK) Professor of Ecology. He is a quantitative ecologist interested in the interactions between ecology and evolution as drivers of biodiversity. Clare Barnard University of Lincoln (UK) PhD Student (Life Sciences). She is an experienced expert in the pet trade industry and her research investigates the impact of this industry on the conservation of global biodiversity. |
Manuel Jara University of Lincoln (UK) PhD Student (Evolution & Ecology). His research focuses on the macroecology of biodiversity, using bioclimatic modeling and spatial ecology approaches. Mapping geek. Alba Frías De Diego University of Lincoln (UK) Master Student (Evolution & Ecology). Her research investigates the genetic basis of phenotypes. Her interests focus mainly on sexual behaviours and macroecology. |
Lilly P. Harvey Research Associate (UNAIS, UK) An applied ecologist, interested in large-scale patterns of biodiversity, and in their links to real-world environmental issues. She is GABiP's link with organisations globally. Jhoann Canto National Museum of Natural History (Chile) Curator in the Zoology Area of the Museum. He is interested in the diversity and evolution of vertebrates. An expert on conservation policy and the CITES authority in Chile. |
